Have you heard of an unbook club? The idea isn't mine. Many libraries run their own versions of the same thing, and it's been around for some time. While the gist is similar to a bookclub, the difference with an unbook club is that discussion doesn't centre around the same book. Participants can have read anything. As a lifelong bookworm and (nosy) human interested in what others are sinking their brains into, I've decided to facilitate a virtual unbook club throughout 2022. This is casual and requires no longterm commitment, but if you'd like to join me this month (or any other) to chat with others about what you've been reading, pop your email in the form below, and I'll send you the Zoom link. I'll be hosting a gathering the last Monday of every month (with a break over the summer) at 7pm EST, and everyone is welcome. Hope to see you there! 2022 Unbook Club dates (7pm EST): Monday, January 31st, 2022 Monday, February 28th, 2022 Monday, March 28th, 2022 Monday, April 25th, 2022 Monday, May 30th, 2022 Monday, September 26th, 2022 Monday, October 31st, 2022 Monday, November 28th, 2022 Monday, December 26th, 2022 My January Reads:

Kristin has a story to tell, and you're a part of it.
Join us for a special zoom gathering, where our living room meets yours. Solastalgia by Kristin Shepherd was produced by Sonderlust at the Saol Project December 2-5th, 2021. Audience members joined us from near and far to sit around the campfire and share in the frozen magic of winter and its inevitable thaw. Now, in honour of the ever-evolving time we're all living in, Sonderlust is proud to present a digital version of Solastalgia. This special event will take place live, over a zoom call. Bring a snack, drink, and whatever else makes you happy, and let us see your face. Oh, please let us see your face! We really miss seeing faces; those of friends and strangers alike. . Friday, January 28th, 2022, 8pm EST & Sunday, January 30th, 2022, 2pm EST. Access to the show is by donation with a suggested minimum of $15. Posted January 5th, 2022, by the Region of Waterloo.
